Playing on 2-3 different computers at different times

Hi

I use 2-3 different computers at different times. 2 laptops and a desktop. Depending where i am. Something i have noticed is weapons and gear when saved after been equipped don't work on the other machines. SO this is becoming very annoying.

Say i upgrade my main hand on 1 laptop then a day later go on the other laptop this laptop does not no the change forcing me to reequip all the gear as it wont let me select the gear set due to the updated main hand.

Why is this not a server based info? IS this going to be fixed?

I think they did say they were looking into keeping it saved that way, since a lot of us will be playing cross-platform as well

I had this same issue tonight playing on my laptop for the first time. All my previous gear sets and hot bar set-ups were completely reset back to original settings. I won't be back to my desktop to confirm for a week, but it seems this is a localized setting that would be VERY well suited for a server setting.

Then copy those .dat archives from your desktop PC to the rest of your PC's. Those files are located in here: C:\Users\***Your session***\Documents\my games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn. I wouldn't like to save those files in thire server since all the issues they are experiencing.

i know where the files are but i use these machines regularly... i don't want to have to do it 3 times a day. That's just plain redonkulous. Plus the UI settings on one laptop is completely different. The only thing they really need to Sync is the Gear sets.
