lv50 fishing now what!!!??

OK so I just achieved lv50 fishing after a couple of weeks of focusing on it. My question is now what!!!?? lol I have no clue what I can fish for profit any ideas?? any suggestions or advice? plz let me know thx

Culinarian.

So far Fishing and Culinarian seem to be the big inventory hogs and in time you find your inventory fills up with random stuff you just want to keep so to eliminate the space hogs first will make sure they get done.

I really enjoy fishing, and I hope this is not entirely accurate, because I think alchemy uses fishing as well as culinary.... And my main focus for crafts are these 3: alch, cul, and fishing @_@

Fish for minions, coral, oysters, sharks, northern pike, tiger cods, black eels, and possibly others. Play the markets and you'll profit.

his might be your best bet because it's the easiest to do. Red coral doesn't have the highest catch rate but you'll get Whitelip oysters and black soles in the process which also sell pretty quickly. The only thing about this is that Northern Krill are used to catch them and not lures.

Try to make/join a fishing linkshell so you can try to fight undercutters ruining the fish market.

Red Coral, Blacklip Oysters, Mahi-mahi, any fish for class quests, any fish for leves will generally sell. If you need listings for the latter two:

As others have said, play the market a bit.
Just be careful not to flood it as undercutting will happen, other then that use it to level some of your crafts.

Right now I am leveling all gathering classes myself so I can level my crafts cheaper and even though right now the economy is still developing I'm very sure this'll profit me in the end.

Sinking minnows says you are wrong.

Also there are many more fish in the 100 - 1K gil range than were mentioned above. Check the market boards and be sure to look at past sales. I have seen 4 - 6 fish listed at 1K - 10K that have never sold a single item.
