I don't think SE mind people who pull trash mob and run fast.
This was the only way you could clear dungeon in 25 min special condition in old day 1.0 right? and SE intentionally designed it that way.

Also, the final boss of wanderer palace, is ALL about the tank going around kiting him and a pletora of trash mobs who MUST NOT BE KILLED D: *no matter what, seriously*.
So being able to run while chased by a lot of mobs, still saving the lifes of your groups, avoiding - if a dps or an healer - to get aggro from the tanks, know where to die, where to hide, how to do that without wiping... is strategy.
lol, you don't need to kite Tonberry King, and having one DPS killing the adds isn't a problem, either. Cycle your tanking cooldowns and you'll be fine. His normal attacks are weak. Also, the final boss of wanderer palace, is ALL about the tank going around kiting him and a pletora of trash mobs who MUST NOT BE KILLED D: *no matter what, seriously*.

This.
Our group got tricked by a video we watched where they said they got overwhelmed and had to kite him. So we tried a few times and failed miserably.
Then we said "fuck it" and just had the tank stand smack in the middle and just tank it there the whole fight while the DRG stick to the boss and attacks, then me (MNK) took care of all adds that got close. I didn't care about how many stacks he had, I just killed all that got kinda close to the tank.
We killed him without issues on first try after trying that.

If you avoid fighting mobs by running behind 'aggro by sight monsters' or walk pass 'aggro by sound monsters' is what I call game mechanic.
But sac run mobs to boss is not what call game mechanic.
FF14 1.0, speed run and open gate which make monster gone is what call game mechanic.
FF11, sleep/invi run pass mobs is what call game mechanic.
I'd say Ruprect just don't argue with them and ignore, wait until servers are stabled and see how SE handle their ban-hammer like FF11.

Sac pulling in Dynamis Beaucedine Glacier was done on purpose and by pretty much all LSs that did it. SE never complained, changed or did anything against it. Therefore it must be a mechanic right? They never banned anyone for it...so I guess SE was cool with it, right? Why should it be different in ARR?If you avoid fighting mobs by running behind 'aggro by sight monsters' or walk pass 'aggro by sound monsters' is what I call game mechanic.

If you want to compare this to Dynamis BCD, just answer this question..Sac pulling in Dynamis Beaucedine Glacier was done on purpose and by pretty much all LSs that did it. Do you have a need for a time extend for bosses in ARR dungeon like when you in Dynamis? The answer is pretty obvious.
Still.. just wait for their SE and their direction. This can be fixed pretty easy if SE intend to do so. Really no point arguing ourselves.

I agree. There is no point in argueing. If SE wants to fix this, it should be pretty easy. I'm just sick of people scaring other players they might get banned or stuff like that, cause it will not happen. If they would ban players for "clever use of game mechanics" the error is on their end, not on the players end for using them.If you want to compare this to Dynamis BCD, just answer this question..

And at the same time I don't like people attacking other people who use these strategies. They are not doing anything bad. They just want to get the most out of their time. I do Amdapor Keep for points. If I can get it done in 15minutes compared to 40 for clearing the whole dungeon, why should I waste my time? It's not like we would be too dumb to defeat trash mobs, they just take up time, that can be spend more effectively.
PS: Dynamis Lord was Dynamis Xarcabard![]()

LOL at people trying to say that ampador runthroughs is "intended", some are even making up names "sacrificial pull" LMAO.
seriously, this is obviously no way intended, I do it, you do it. be honest, did you really think they made this to be an intended option? this needs to be fixed (only after I get all my pieces) jk jk.
