[PS3] Latency/Lag issues?

Is anyone else having lag or 'Latency' issues with the PS3 version? I have a strong internet connection and live 'relatively' close to where servers are.

Issues I experience(90% of the time):

- 3-10 Second delay in skills
- Other players look choppy or 'stuck' when moving, however i move seamlessly.

Yes, I have seen this myself (when I can get on) It's not all the time but the more populated the area I'm in the more noticeable it seems. Once it was so bad the people running around me didn't even look like they belonged in the environment because of how choppy their movement was. And, I recall several occasions when I'm battling or even just gathering there will be a delay. Nothing happens for a few seconds and I think I d/ced but then suddenly everything goes fast forward.

It's actually a bit surprising, I had played XI on Xbox and I never experienced quite what I have just mentioned above in way of latency/lag. There is a huge difference between PC XIV and PS3 XIV though. Even though the graphics seem juicy on the PS3, they are so so SO much better on the PC. I get first hand witness to this as I play sitting next to my boyfriend who plays on a PC I built for XIV specifically.

Yes, I just ran a long cable to hard wire it, I see a slight difference in my connection 20mbs/down from a 16mbs/down not huge. I notice my Skill delay to be better but the choppy players are still there.

I'm hoping this gets resolved or are fixed completely on the PS4
