What will be next to complain about? People will still complain about AFKers in the game obviously. But what else will they complain about? Will they go on the attack against the people that do get to log in, but actually sit there playing all day. "Stop being greedy and playing all day, give other people chance to play".

Will the retarded comments about people over level 30 continue? I mean they already seem to think that anyone over level 30 never logs out, so will they get more aggro about it?

I hope the new server adds do fix things, so that people will stop trying to tear each other's throats out for not being able to play a game one week into it's release.

Stop expecting bro. By looking at the actions of ffxiv arr team since early release, these maintenance doesnt really fix anything. Same issue different error. First the issue wherein you are still logged in even though youre logged out for 4hours already, then theres error 90000 wherein you always dc when you enter instances, and now this error 1017 wherein you cannot play because you tried logging in during peak times.

All of these have one thing in common: players cant play the game properly or cant play at all.


Adding new servers will only help those who are just starting the game, but the thing is, majority of the people who cant play already have characters in the old server and that character is the one they want to play. So without free transfers to new server, the problem will still exist.

Atleast thats what i understood from the notice. I do hope they are upgrading their old servers as well though not just adding new ones to mess up

If I still cannot log on after this week's maintenance window then I'm done, I really like what I've seen of this game but for the past two weekends I have been completely unable to log in and even during the week I've managed to amass a total of maybe 6 hours play time over 10 days. I'm done waiting on SE to fix the problem, done wasting my time trying to play a game that is this poorly supported. I want to enjoy this game, I'm a huge fan of Final Fantasy and a good FF MMO has been on my list for years; this game has the potential to be amazing but I have other things to do rather than spend 2 hours trying to log in and then getting a server disconnect after 1 hours play.

I've tried to remain optimistic and I'm willing to give them this chance, so if their update fixes things so I can log in and play then great. If however I still cannot log in or play after the updates then I'm just going to give up and go play something else that doesn't ask me to pay money for error messages.
