FC Chest settings are broke. Solutions for FC Bank?

While you're at it, are there any plans to remove the ability of people with promotion/demotion privilages to assign other members as higher ranks than themselves? This seemed kind of awkward when we started fiddling with it. We have the Guild Leader and the Assistant Lead, then all of the officers. The officers were able to promote/demote the second in command, and even demote themselves. This seemed very strange. I could see this being a problem with more volatile guilds.

Additionally, to go along with feature we are also planning to make it possible to view a deposit and withdrawal history.

This is a must for shared FC inventory and gils. One must have an audit trail in order to help and track FC thief.

In patch 2.1, we’ll be adding a "deposit only" authority setting for company chests, which you can set depending on a member’s rank.

Additionally, to go along with feature we are also planning to make it possible to view a deposit and withdrawal history.

It's extremely confusing that "view only" is called "leader".

I assumed leader was.. I dunno, a lot of access?

Another feature that would be awesome to see added to the FC is to have some kind of Tax per Rank, for example, I set a Tax of 20% to the leaders and higher ranks, and 5% to the other members, so the 20% of total Gil gained by the leader and higher members and the 5% gained by other members go to the FC Chest. That way we could set a comunity fund to purchase the house and other perks.

Thought also could be permissions per tab in the chest? Such as if you had lower level stuff to help early crafters or lower leveled players where you kept the higher value stuff on a separate tab for the more senior members?

These are all great ideas everyone, and I'm grateful to hear from a Dev on this issue while they're experiencing so many heartaches with all the server issues. I'm going to post an updated list to the 1st post to keep everyone updated.

I don't have much knowledge when it comes to programming video games, but if it's possible to get some or any of these changes to improve the functionality and quality of this aspect of the game it would be greatly appreciated!


Suggestions so far:
- Auto stack;
- A sort button: to sort by ABC, # of items, etc
- A way to select multiple items from your inventory at once and put it into a chest (like a crtl+click listener)
- Ability to purchase more slots
- Ability to increase/decrease how much members can take from the chest (aka "withdrawal limit" setting) depending on rank. AKA members with rank 1 can only take up to 50gil and 10 items from the FC chest, etc. Also, Permissions PER chest?
- Ability to allow members limited promotion/demotion settings. So a Rank 3 member could promote someone to rank 2 or 1, but cannot promote them to the same rank or higher than themselves.
- Can we change "leader" name for the FC chest setting to "View Only" ?
- Tax or membership fee for the FC to go towards Housing, Pets, etc

We need LOTS more than JUST the ability to deposit...I'll help sum it up for you.

I'll make a new forum if I can also. I'd like to sum up the fixes to the FC tools i'd like to see fixed and I'm not the only one. So I'll start listing them because all I've seen is they're adding a deposit feature for FC Members and that's it. So here goes.

1. Make permissions for ranks to deposit and withdraw a number amount of stacks of items per day as well as a set amount of GIL.
2. Make it possible for officers to chat exclusively to other officers in the FC.

3. Add a sorting feature to the FC, like clicking the top of the Members page where the Names are for Alphabetical, Jobs, Level, Area, Etc.
4. Add an FC Information page where you can add your Vent / Mumble / RC server information, website, and other important FC details for FC Members, so we don't have to use the Company Board section for it all.
