Dear Square Enix,

I'm not sure who was in charge of resource allocation and/or resource management with regards to your servers, their locations (for North America), and the overall total lack of preparedness, but who ever that person/persons failed miserably at their job.

Can you anticipate every conceivable outcome? No, but your total incompetence with resource planning and implementation is shocking!

Square Enix knew how many preorders were sold, how many copies they released via online and box here in NA and in EU and totally dropped the ball.

It's a shame that you failed so miserably this holiday weekend (in the US) because the game (when I was lucky enough to get past the myriad of 1017 & 90k errors) is very solid and fun to play.

Your increase in free play time helps salve the sting of a holiday weekend debacle, but I fear the damage is already done to what could have been an outstanding release.
