SE has clearly stated there will be an extension of a free trial, and hard earned money is sad to say. But at most it's $50 for CE which is 5 hours of your work at minimum wage? In Canada, with an average of $10.00 / HR.
If you were to convert that into USD, it's actually quite heavy.

Living expenses are very heavy in Canada as well, Cell Phone is approximately $50/Month, Rents $900+/Month, Transportation $128.50/Month cost of food and other means.
The average people in Canada cannot afford standard of living as is, so $50 is a lot to many people here.

Where did you learn math? Get off the internet... At least this helps get a glance into the minds of white knights. They are obviously clueless people who don't live in the real world. Minimum wage is $10 and I'm sure your dad who sells propane and propane accessories (and also pays for your game and subscription) makes a million dollars a year right?
