Fed up of the need of Healers!

I'm currently up to the Duty Quest 'Lord of the Inferno' and yet i can't do it because these Duty Quests constantly need Healer's to stand on one leg in the Boss battles. Does anyone know any other Methods of doing these quests without Healers its driving me up the wall!

The fact that i cant even do it because no one on the game will do anything unless theres a Healer in a party! I was wondering if the Meta knew another method of doing these Quests? Its annoying how these Duty Quests are a part of the Story...

So you want ifrit to kill your tank every time, and then the rest of your party cause there is no one around to keep the tank alive.

You can try running with an archanist in place of your healer, but all hes gonna do is heal, while his caster carby does damage. basically, its the same thing.

Make your own party.
If you happen to get an Archer, he can use the Limit Break to heal after AOE attack, granted, that heal kinda sucks lol.
So does the tanks level 1.
Get an ACN to heal.

ACN are capable of helping healing in dungeons below 20..so you don't always need a CNJ..just yell on the same map try to form ur own party instead
that's what I did for the lower dungeons as well due to the lack of healers (with protect would be better of course)

Welcome to MMORPGs, mate. The dire need for heals/tanks is commonplace in most due to the ungrateful job it is. You're either praised when things go well, or blamed when things go south.

The reason most people don't want to play a Tank or Healer is down to the community, same problem I had with WOW, EQ and a few others. The Tank & Healer are just as essential as the DPs for getting through a dungeon, however the moment something goes wrong the tendency is to blame the Tank or the Healer for not doing their job properly. That discourages people from playing that class and leads to a shortage of people to fulfill the role, very quickly those people who do stick it out are scooped up by guilds and stop doing PuG runs. Which means that the general ability to get into dungeons for low level PCs drops. The only way to fix it is for the community as a whole to change and we all know that's about as likely as a completely bug free release.

Well if everyone would stop being retarted and going "Hurrr durr i wan be r deeps" and actually play a diffrent class like a healer, we'd not have these issues. The game doesn't need more dps classes we have enough people playing them.

Not everyone wants to play healers or tanks, as I said above the tanking and healing classes tend to be the ones that cop all the abuse when things go wrong and until that changes it's a massive reason to not play either. Even allowing for that some people just don't find the mechanics of playing either to be a rewarding experience. Personally I chose Thaumaturge because my inner Final Fantasy fanboy wants to play a Black Mage. But I might also create an alt who is tank or healer, although from a stylistic point of view I prefer the look of the Dragoon. Ultimately you can't force people to tank or heal but you can try to make the environment a bit better for those who do choose it and hope they in turn will encourage others to try it out.
