    FFXIV:ARR Crashes computer

So I have been playing the game alot for the past 2 weeks and have had zero problems with it.

however yesterday i was simply walking towards a quest giver when my frame rate took a massive dive. soon after my screens went black and went to stand by and saying there was no signal. and my speakers would spam the last sound that was heard.

I tried to Ctrl+Alt+Del and other commands to try and get out of the black screen but its no use and i'm forced to turn off my computer.

I have tried virus scans and checked for updates but still the same problem but i can't even get past the character log in screen now without it crashing my computer.

    Here is my computer:

    Windows 7 x64

GPU: Geforce GTX 560 Ti ( 320.49 driver)

    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600k CPU @ 3.40GHz

    Memory: 8GB

Also I heard it may be my graphics card drivers but i tried the latest beta driver and still the same problem.

I can only say that I have experienced the same issue. The FPS rate was good and I didn't have any problems with the game at all until my computer suddenly just completely freeze-crashed. Unfortunately, I didn't find any solution for this :/
My GPU is a GeForce GT 540 M with the latest driver version in case this is of any help.

ok so i figured out the problem. my GPU was overheating and i found out that there was a mountain of dust under the fan and the way my GPU is facing(upside down) i couldn't tell if it had anything on it or not.

So i cleaned it out and it works like a charm.
