Level requirement for quest turn in

Why is it that sometimes you can GET a quest, DO the quest, but can't TURN IN the quest because there's a level restriction on the turn in? Why can you even get the quest if you can't turn it in?

And because some fucking genius thought NOT putting in the ability to stop tracking quests was really bright, you can't even fucking stop looking at quests you can't turn in.

I was only doing these quests to get to 15 on a class I probably won't take past 15, but the quests can't be turned in until 16. Fucking great.

The quest tracking thing was actually added as a workaround to another bug, and was removed when that other bug was fixed.
They are considering adding that feature back though.

I had the same issue with level 10 quests. I was level 8, it let me take the quests (presumably because my main class is 29 even though I was my level 8 conj at the time).

I accepted the quest as level 8 conj, vanquished the mobs as a level 8 conj but couldn't turn it in as a level 8 conj because it said i need to be level 10. I was like seriously?!

A few examples would be the missing lunch quest over at moraby drydocks, the bridge full quest near there, etc. I had 6 quests completed that I couldn't turn in and it was to the point where I'd have to grind to get to level 10 just to turn them in because i used my leve allowances on my maelstrom seal leves. Needless to say I was quite annoyed.

The level requirement to turn in quests is so you don't "powerlevel" lower level classes.
The alternative I guess would be to lower the exp reward if you don't meet the level requirement, but not sure anyone would want that.

Or at least change the quest giver icon above their head to show that this quest can be accepted but is out of the level range for your currently selected class. Many a time did i chocobo across the map because i seen quest icons on the map only to find out they're either beyond my level range or i can do them but couldn't turn them in after. Some way to know at a glance would be lovely.

You can take these quests because you have class that can take them but you can't turn them in because your current class doesn't have high enough lvl.
It happened to me when I was lvling archer for BLM job. Since I had THM lvl 35 at that time, on my low lvl archer I could take any quests my 35lvl THM was able to take, but I obviously couldn't turn them in.
It's good idea to check level when turning in quest, but it would be even better if you couldn't take these quests to begin with if your lvl is too low.
