So I pre-ordered this game. Got early access, have had "access" to the game for 11 days now. Have yet to be able to log in during a reasonable time. I get to play for about an hour before I go to bed at like 11pm-midnight. Error 1017 of course.
Now I know a new MMO is going to have launch problems, I fully expected some bugs and maybe server crashes etc. But to flat-out intentionally tell people you aren't going to let them play is unheard of.

Your excuse is you didn't expect this many people to be interested in playing. What? You're telling us you guys don't/didn't have access your pre-order numbers? You knew how many people pre-ordered before it was launched. You should have known your servers weren't capable of handling it.

There really is no excuse for this, it was a completely preventable problem that you as a company should have known was coming just by looking at pre-order sales.

I'm not going to sit here and say I want a refund, I'm not going to do any name calling. But I think you as a company should be ashamed of this, and even more so at the way in which you chose to handle the problem that shouldn't have been a problem.

I enjoy the game, as I enjoyed FFXI for many years. But when will you let me play the product I purchased from you? It's been a week and a half already.
