I just got put on a Queue...

So, after several attempts at logging in and getting stopped by 1017 the game placed me on a queue and after a few minutes I got in.. then my boyfriend tries and he doesn't get put on a queue.. he just simply can't get in past the 1017 errors. Anyone else get put on a queue? I'm so confused as to what's going on with this game right now!

It's not just you. My husband and I have experienced it multiple times today. We finally just gave up and we're hoping after maintenance tomorrow it will be resolved.

Correct. We've both been in the queue then 1017 errored.

What is going on in your case is, you are lucky to be put in a queue because by the time you log in, there are server accounts that log off, hence giving space for anyone who is in queue a chance to get in. You husband is not that lucky because after solving all ones in the queue, the world is once full again.

Okay, wow, you guys didn't even get in after the queue?? That's so stupid... when it put me on it I was #193 then after counting down only a few times it let me in... they didn't even announce implementing a queue system yet did they?

I've been queued multiple times this weekend and only gotten in once (and then disconnected shortly after because my connection hiccuped). All of the other times I was queued, I got error 1017. There was one point where I was queued, and it told me that there was 1 person in the queue, and then errored me. I don't even get excited when I see the queue anymore.

Yeah, I can't imagine it yields much hope lol. I was just confused and surprised by it. I know everyone has been asking for a queue amongst other things.. but I didn't know they actually made one. They haven't made any sort of announcement.

There has been a queue since day one....It just doesn't work properly.

I got a Queue during Open Beta at one point, but it worked then too.

Once the server is completely full again after a queue is made, it boots everyone else, which defeats the entire point of a queue.

Same here. Got put in a queue waited then it started to load (yay!). Before I it even finishes error 1017 (NOOOOO). Goes back to title screen then press start. Cannot load NA/EU servers. (aww wtf man!) Makes a character on Jp servers. Gets in no problem. (╯°□°）╯︵┻━┻
