Considering there is (apparently) no limit to how many times you can do this in a given period of time, I see no problem with only having 1 drop per run.

fits with the saying better gear than me = you have no life i have better gear than you = your a scrub

I just wished the amount of tomes was just a tad better.
Increase the tomes or increase the number of weapons that drop. I've killed ifrit over 30-40 times and I haven't seen the damn axe drop even once. This isn't an old issue either. People have been complaining about this since 1.0 and Yoshi P said he'd fix it. Well the current system still sucks.
It took me 52 wins to see and win Ifrit's Codex >.>
Ifrit/Garuda take < 10 mins, dunno bout Titan. Its not that bad.

Fast, 1 will drop, no problem. With an FC its cake. And any good group will be taking down Garuda shortly after ifrit (even w/o all getting weps from ifrit) and those are much better.
While a token system may be nice for these, no less than say 20 kills should equal a wep of your choice, its just that damn easy/fast to kill and repeat.
What does Garuda and Titan drop ? Weapons too ?
More loot means we get our gear faster, more gear means we can rush faster thorugh content, rushing through content means Sqaure cant keep up with content and if Square cant bring us enough content players will leave.
So why should they make it easier to get items?
