any news on a possible card system?
I haven't heard anything meself but I'm hoping for it. I know a lot of players who'd be wasting a lot of valuable playtime over at the Gold Saucer playing some of FF's historical card games. I'm also kind of hoping they re-work parlay into, perhaps, a tile-based tabletop game as opposed to a "discussion" game. Despite what the forums might indicate, bringing up the same topic 15 times doesn't make it more convincing...

Something like the one from FF9? I'd be for that it'd be a nice meta game they could create a lounge in Gold Saucer that's exclusively for it and you could challenge others for fun or for stakes.
Triple Triad would be much better. I played the hell out of that game in FFVIII.
Yea Triple Triad was a much easier to grasp and was super fun. If they add a card game i hope its from FFVIII
This would be so cool.
Triple Triad would be great!
I'm waiting for the Golden Saucer. Surely something as simple as a card game should feature in there at some point. Would LOVE a card game that rewards you somehow.
Anything... ANYTHING so long as it is far different than the annoying "Parlay" "minigame" from 1.0
I would take VIII's card game over IX's... I mean look how it worked out for XI... Tetra master only lasted for like 4 years till they scrapped it and no longer included it via PoL
Sanjuro - - Asura - - FFXI - - Go Go Puppetmaster!
Triple Triad a great shout out to 6 and 8. As far as card games go. Triple Triad i played the hell out of had had some of the rarest cards before i ever left for Timber. My leveling would stop in a heartbeat the second i catch wind of that. The one in 9 was just time consuming and boring, on top of the fact that they decided to use it to progress the story was just dumb imo.
