Ffxiv V1 was a flop, we all know that. Ffxiv V2 is way better in comparison to V1. Square just needs time to get their shit together. I'm sure they're working the best they can. But maybe that's entirely untrue and v2 is going to end up like V1. if so we can all look forward to V3! FFXIV: A realm birthed one too many times. :P

Technically not tomorrow, Wednesday... the fix won't be done until Wednesday.

They'll get everything up and working very soon, I bet on it. I never played version 1.0 and from what I hear, I probably saved myself time by not playing it . This is my very first Final Fantasy MMO, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. I was looking forward to finding an MMO to replace Guild Wars 2, and I very much hope I can find home right here for a few years to come.

It's a huge step up from V1. If they can solve the server overload issue with this maintainance it will make a world of difference. I'll give square a couple of weeks, by then I'll just lose interest and move on to better things.

Only world maintenance being done is adding more worlds. Not upgrading the existing ones so unless you want to start over on a new world with a new character, it won't fix things. The only upgrade they are doing is to the duty finder servers.

So it was just a rumor that they are increasing capacity in current worlds? :/ I actually wouldn't mind starting over if it helped the situation.
