
This can be prevented too just by making behest harder: if it takes more than 30 minutes to finish a behest, the ame people can't do it two times in a row.
I agree but the system we have now still offers alot.
My suggestion is go to another behest area right now people refuse to go anywhere but horizon >> nophica wells >> broken water.
Drives me nuts 8 people just stand there like i cant get in, theres like 3 level 20 behests (idealy 15-20 for best sp) horizon, bloodshore, tranquil.
then there is 6 level 30 camps (25-30), Cassie, Cedar, Nophica, Nanawa, Muntuy cellars, Humblehearth,
not at 35+ yet so havent explored the 40 behests.
I agree, but mainly the reason it is not hard at the minute is because people who are too high for the behest participate. if ur above 25 you should not be at horizon, likewise if ur above 35 you should not be at nophica.Today I had my first 8ppl behest, it was sooo disappointing -.-' I read here people saying it's much better then before... to me it seemed the usual spam fest... I'm not one of those that spam normal attacks, I always try to use my whole arsenal of skills, but during behest it's impossible, the mobs are just too easy! I can't even select my skill and they're already dead. Make those f***ing mobs harder, increase their rank, make we suffer when trying to kill them. >.<
Also, about the last boss, it has to be something different, most of the times I don't even notice it popped. I guess it should be the main challenge of behest and it should drop something rewarding, it should be something like the latest NM they implemented. This way, just doing behest, we would be ranking up, dropping unique items and having fun... behest could be such an amazing content, it's a pity they worked so little on them.
Additionally Ive found that certain lvl 30 behests are harder than others mun tuy is quite hard for 30 levels with some of the mobs being as high as 45-48 in rank.

The reasons for this occurring is due to several factors that, when you think about it, have nothing to do with the behest system specifically. We are going to need to fix certain other things first to alleviate this problem.
No one bothers to go to Gridania and Limsa anymore, so it's natural that people would stick to the leves in the Uldah region more often.
No one bothers to go to those towns and only stay in Uldah because:
The story line naturally converges there.
Important guilds are there.
Most of the good leves are there.
Most people put their retainers in the Uldah marketwards
etc
All this creates a feedback cycle that keeps other people away from grid and limsa.

I do not agree.. we'd rather get back behest with 16 people every hour instead..
Oh and it's "kai-neh", not "kain".. and it is feminine.. u.u



That makes no sense, why would you not just make it harder and have multiple instances of the fight for each group, I think they should allow up to 4 groups of 8, maybe make it so one group can't see another's monsters, or make the whole fight completely instanced in its own zone.
Limit Levels
I.e if its a rank 30 camp have everyone who gets most sp i.e 25-30 into the behest
make people 30-35 go to a different behest camp
and
35-40.
Im fed up of people ruining SP because they want easy fights or want to participate in a lvl 30 behest at rank 40

I have seen alot of people here wanna make everything easier and alot wanna make things harder
They could make 2 kinds of behest
1 version for people who want it easy keep it like it is now no exp loss easy fast exp without problem
One other version where you have harder fights you need use your abilities and if you die you lose exp but your reward little higher exp and longer battles
I hope they can make this game for both casual players and the hardcore without every adjust have to fail on one side
I miss the gameplay where you had to work in a group to get somewhere
And i hope SE will make things for both casual and hardcore players

The only problem that I currently see with behests is the party limit. I find myself having trouble joining behests because there are people camping the battle warden at pretty much every major aetheryte i go to. It's frustrating spending in upwards of 10 anima bouncing around to different camps looking for behests that I can join. I think parties should be optimized based on how many applications are put in in the time limit before the behest starts. It's discouraging waiting around nearly two hours to join a behest, only to see the battle warden tell you he was mistaken and they don't need anymore people ;_;
Behest have quite obviously become a popular way to level up, and I think if the player base enjoys it so much then there should be more done to cater to it on a larger scale. Even if I do find some obscure area with a behest that I can join there are more than likely no more than 2 or 3 other people there, and depending on where you are, and what jobs you have in the party, you may or may not succeed; which can be just as discouraging.
Needless to say, having only 8 players able to "luckily" participate in a behest is....please excuse me if u will, RETARDED, especially when the behest wardens bugs out and reply you with "Cannot load" after clicking yes to participate. I play on prime times and thats the only time when I'm available to play, and most likely the camps are packed with 10-15 players spamming the warden. People shouldn't have to try their luck to get into behest parties. If they are there and wants to join then they DESERVE a spot. I hate it when I travel far, use up some of my anima to only find out the behest parties is full because I wasn't lucky enough to spam myself with a spot. The old behest system is by far much better, more convenient and friendly in every aspect I could think of. But obviously I don't think SE will revert back to the so-called-improved-behest system. Lets hope they understand how frustrating it is to get a behest spot especially I'm not the only player experiencing this.
