    Various suggestions, in no particular order:


    Activate behests for the Rank 50 camps.
    Even if you don't have time to create guildleves for the rank 50 camps, at least activate the behest there. Too many people of too disparate a rank range have no choice but to crowd in to the rank 40 behests, and this lowers SP for all involved.

    Furthermore, even for a party of all rank 45 players at a rank 40 behest, the behest mobs will be no higher than rank 50 or so. That means the optimal dlvl of 10 is not met, and SP gain is still not optimal. (For more info about the current flaws of SP gain, go here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-How-to-Fix-it )

    To alleviate these problems, open up the behests at the rank 50 camps, and have the mobs that spawn there be at least rank 60.


    Auto-group everyone who accepts the behest into a party.
    Too much time is wasted by people having to form their own party in a behest.


    Have all behest mobs start off as claimed.
    Too many times have SP gains been less than optimal because some monsters are too packed together and unclaimed mobs get damaged by AOE. Or, if they aggro a player, and then get damaged due to shockspikes. Just have all mobs be claimed and eligible to reward SP from the start. It'll be easier that way. Besides, AOEing large groups of mobs is fun.


    Make the mobs more interesting.
    I'm tired of being told about the dangers of Eorzea, then having to fight a bunch of stupid goats and bugs. Implement more dangerous mobs that are tougher to beat. Put in more beatsmen, and packs of mobs like we see on the faction leves.


    Make the Behest Boss more interesting, too.
    It's very anticlimactic to get to the end of a behest, here the epic boss music start, then find out that you the boss is....a pair of coblyns that die in 3 seconds.

    Make them huuuuge. Bigger. Different color. Put horns on them, I don't care, just make them more interesting and worthy of the boss music.


    If over 8 people are trying to get into a behest, create a second instance for the extra people.

    It's very frustrating to wait for a behest, only to find out that it's full. This is not fun and is a waste of the player's time.

    MAKE IT HARDER!

    Today I had my first 8ppl behest, it was sooo disappointing -.-' I read here people saying it's much better then before... to me it seemed the usual spam fest... I'm not one of those that spam normal attacks, I always try to use my whole arsenal of skills, but during behest it's impossible, the mobs are just too easy! I can't even select my skill and they're already dead. Make those f***ing mobs harder, increase their rank, make we suffer when trying to kill them. >.<

    Also, about the last boss, it has to be something different, most of the times I don't even notice it popped. I guess it should be the main challenge of behest and it should drop something rewarding, it should be something like the latest NM they implemented. This way, just doing behest, we would be ranking up, dropping unique items and having fun... behest could be such an amazing content, it's a pity they worked so little on them.

    Instance all monsters

    Similar to how guildleves are done, monsters spawn only for your party, this way behest can have more than 1 group participating at a time.

    Which would work well with auto grouping.

    Make Behest Wardens appear at camps 24/7

    Allow players to participate once every 30 mins, this way there is no chance of missing the time window or not being able to get in a party.

    Make Behest more like Campaign from FF11

    Imagine you are in an area and you hear the sound of a horn, shortly after the music for the area changes to a more menacing upbeat theme.

    This tells you behest has started and monsters are beginning to attack the area, you run to your nearest camp and sign up to help defend against the oncoming waves of monsters.

    Rank 50 camps could involve beastmen and be worked into the story to suggest that the beastmen have become more unreasonable and violent and the citizens of Erozea now have no choice but to dispatch them to save the surrounding inhabitance, you could further increase the threat by allowing beastman to take over camps if players fail to protect it, players must retake the camp if they wish to use the Aetheryte crystal.

    Or just make it so hard that it takes at least 30 minutes to kill all of the mobs, IMHO it would be awesome *-* The best times I've had in game were when we went too far with the stars and killed the last mob at the last minute

    Make Behest reward "nation" points.
    Instead of a stupid small amount of gil we are currently getting we should be rewarded some kind of nation points that could be spent in various ways. This way instead of gear dropping in Behest and random people fighting it out for it we could be spending those points to buy gear, teleport scrolls, raise scrolls, potions, etc. Tons of possibilities here.
    I had an idea where there could be some unique bosses for each major Behest area or even one per nation and you could use a certain amount of nation points to gain an access to an "advanced battlefield" in which you could have a rematch against the boss with a group of friends.

    I am in total agreement with the OP, I also want to further add that what is in the quote tags above is a totally baller idea too. I like the whole idea of getting nation point to purchase stuff with, maybe even replenish a bit of anima with said points too.

    Also the concept of using these nation points to trigger BCNM like behests would utterly amazing! and actually this has been an idea I've wanted to pitch for a while now lol, seems like you beat me to the punch

    Replenishing anima with behest points is fantastic idea imo too.
    I like the BCNM idea to be kind of like "going to the source" where you face of against the lead force behind the foes attacking the camps. Would add to the lore and everything =)

    I agree with everything in this topic. Especially the Behest Boss.....I want a Beastman or something to come out at every Behest. An NM for Behest! Haha! Come on, Devolopment Team! Let's make this game fun!

    Implement a 30min cooldown for joining another Behest, making it so 16 different people (8 + 8) can attempt a run in a span of an hour. Right now you may have the same 8 people participating every 30 mins, effectively shutting many people out of the system.
