Relic Reborn (Veil of Wiyu) - NPC Gerolt Not Accepting Item

I'm not liking the response I've been getting though. Basically "Oh it's a bug with the text, just go get the correct stuff and you'll be fine." Well, yeah, but I spent a ton of gil, had a friend help me gather the ingredient for the book from an instance, had another guy from the LS I just joined make the book with some of his own mats because he's an awesome guy. Apparently some of which were hard to find too, and then slot the materia in. And now all of that was wrong, useless, and it was a lot of wasted time and effort. Then the response is "post on the forums" and "go get the right stuff." That's...kinda sucky. I'm hoping they do better.

Im hoping they refund us back out items or gil.. but as you can see they don't even reply to our post.

I got a response on Twitter, basically what I posted. A friend said you gotta look at it like this. It's a new game, there's a ton of tickets in, they don't have the man power right now. It's a shitty deal but it happens. I have my book with materia on AH right now to basically dupe someone else and make it their problem. Sucks so hard, but I suppose if this is the most I get cheated by this game, I can be happy with that.

I got lucky and read about the bugs before hand. There are more bugs too in the quest further down.

Same problem as here. Got the book the quest log told me to get, spent almost half my gil on it, only to get the NPC to tell me my log was wrong. Hoping for a refund of my 80,000 gil or getting the book swapped for the real one.
