The lack of any way to kick someone from a group is a ridiculous omission. Last night we had someone in our FC lose his connection and not be able to get back on, and our only option was to zone out, kick him, and restart the dungeon.
Yes, i agree that some kind of voting kick system is needed.
A lot of MMO's these days use a vote kick type system. I've run well over 100+ dungeons under these systems and not once have I seen it abused. Does it happen? I'm sure it does and I've heard stories, but generally, for the most part, people are good and understanding. Those that don't want to deal with gear rolls, lower than they want dps, cutscene watchers, new players generally just form up their own groups and avoid the auto group finders. The only way a vote kick could work is call GM to investigate if someone is really afk, rude, trolling. Otherway it will be definitely abused to kick players that roll for same gear, doesnt perform optimally according to a parser or first-timers wanting to watch cutscenes in last two story dungeons.
I also want a vote kick system. Running Castrum Meridianum as well, the main tank went afk on the 2 colossi before the final boss without saying a word, we all thought he was watching the cut-scene but after 10 minutes nothing changed. We didn't have a way to kick him out and since he didn't d/c then we couldn't do anything, we had to wait until he finally came back.
The worst part is that these people still get rewards whether or not they helped in the dungeon at all, you can go afk in the beginning and the rest have to either leave and get the 15m penalty (the first one to leave) or try to complete the dungeon without the afker. Those that spent an hour waiting for the queue to pop will have to suck it up and wait another hour.

Yes we need this
Def need this pretty bad
Not having this feature causes 10x more problems then getting trolled by some people (who really cares about getting kicked out of a DF group anyways, like I would care about that)
Seriously why is there no kicking option?
Why is the system siding with poor performing players?
Please add a kick system, we need proper management.
I've played wow for years and I've probably ran into party drama maybe 3 times in pubs. I've also never had problems with loot rolling need/greed.
Why limit party features just to fend off abusers?
Let people be people and figure it out themselves. Some players are just bad, annoying, or afk.

I agree. I have had some runs with terrible troll tanks (one who refused to repair his gear because "it provides more of a challenge"). The way it's setup now is so that 3 or more people can't gang up on a single person and be "mean" to them. However, what it ended up doing was allowing one person to be "mean" to 3, which is much worse. Especially since I notice it is usually tanks that are either bad/trolling, who have instant queues anyway. So when they want to play seriously they can immediately get back into a dungeon. While I, as a dps, have to wait 30-45 min (+15 if I leave the dungeon because I didn't want to waste my time for something I know wont be successful).
A majority vote system would be the ideal solution. Chances are if one person is a jerk, the other two wont vote just to let some random guy get a monopoly on gear. So really the only time you'll see it abused is if it is 3 friends grouped together, which I don't think will happen enough to warrant a real complaint.
Why teaching someone new how to play when u can just kick him?
DF was created to give casuals content accessibility. And vote kick without safety mechanisms will be used mainly against them.
I bet SE will not risk casuals getting kicked from last two story dungeons for watching cutscenes because some elitist pricks want to speedrun them for tomes.
Another safety mechanism apart from live GM judge could be GM investigation after complaint. If the kicked one complains and is found innocent, all players that voted "yes" are given 6h jail punishment, pay compensation to the kicked one from their gametime pool and potential completion prizes, the player that provoked vote pays double. However if GM finds the kicked one really commited punishable crime, he gets appropriate punishment.
Duty Finder is that, Duty finder. You deal with what you got. If you don't want this to happen don't use Duty Finder. The second a kick from group option comes in the "elitist" will kick anyone they feel is "under par" for their level of play.
I don't like running into problems like you guys have ran into, but I still don't want a kick option. They just need a timer on afk. Afk for 10 mins your logout and that fixes that problem.
