WOULD IT BE TOO MUCH TO ASK THAT EVERY FEW HOURS YOU CLOSE OUT EVERYONE WHO IS LOGGED IN TO GET RID OF PEOPLE WHO AFK WHILE THEY GO TO WORK/SLEEP/ETC!!! I AM TIRED OF WHEN I DO GET LOGGED IN OF SEEING DEAD AFK BODIES AND PEOPLE STANDING AROUND FOR HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS ON END PREVENTING MY FRIENDS AND MYSELF FROM BEING ABLE TO LOG IN!!! IF YOU ARE LOGGED IN YOU WILL SEE A FULL SERVER KICK WARNING THEN BAM! BOOT EVERYONE!!! IF YOU ARE ACTIVE< JUST LOG BACK IN!!!!!

Auto-logout after an hour of inactivity would be far better, and could have easily been added days ago.

What's the point? Are they going to do anything about them? Unlikely, considering they haven't implemented any type of way to deal with them automatically, which is significantly easier to do than a manual "punish people by list."

Also, what's the guarantee that someone on said list is actually AFKing and not added by someone who was mad at them...or taking a bathroom break? I don't mean to be rude but that's a bad idea and bound to create more problems than it would fix.

Adding a an AFK timer fo one hour will NOT solve our current problem. People can make bots and such to get around that. However, a server reset or a log in lock out WOULD solve such issues. Because if it is set on a timed schedule. You can use a bot program to work around it. However, a random 3-5 hour window with a 15 minute warning cannot as easily be worked around.

I discovered today that you can do a player search by status. I did a search on a European server and found only a 12 showing afk. I've been trying to get on behemoth to see but it's full. It would be nice to just see because alot of people say afk is not a problem. I think it is but who knows.

To Polantaris - I guess those are valid points. im not too bothered by 1017 and all this mess because it's my first MMO and this is what I expected. it's honestly why I stayed away from them. my only problem is SE touting that the "free period" will be extended, but the game's paid for so what's free? honestly, I figured the MMO community in general would self police, but it's obviously not short on immature ragers so points go to you. Im new to using forums in general so idk how to insert original posts

I wish i could be mad but i got an invite for TESO this weekend. The thing is even there i step aside to take a quick break ( less than 30 mins) as soon as i get back to computer im already disconnected. Not sue why is SE taking this route.
