Been there. I'm right there with you.Try having this issue, as well as, not even being able to see your server, getting world full after hours of not being able to see your character, losing connection to the lobby server, not being able to see the server list again, finally able to see servers but still getting world full errors, and getting random boots from the lobby server even before being able to try to pick your character all day. Then you can be angry.
Do we get refunded for the days of our "free trail" that we got locked out of?
I don't know what decisions were made by those at the corporate level at SE. My guess was get it out; get it out fast. The game itself, when logged in and I am playing is loads of MMO fun. I mean, yes I can go to any number of other MMOs and get the same experience (more or less) and play those till FFXIV RR isn't congested anymore. However, I did pay to play a game. I paid for a service, I am just barely getting it. Not a single person on this forum or in this world would buy a car that starts maybe once or twice a day, or goes but breaks down on you on the way to work or school. So why are we putting up with paying for something that wasn't ready to be stressed? I am not mad, I am just confused. Why should I wait to play something that I paid for. Would you be willing to wait to eat a hamburger you bought at BK? If the restaurant took your money and then gave you a burger and then took it away before you finished eating it, what would you do? If any of you paid for a haircut and only half your hair was cut would you be happy? Would you wait patiently for it to even out? No, you would not. I do not understand why some of you are so patient with SE when you've spent money for something when you can only use the service intermittently, or at all. I guess those of you who accept this are of the mantra that, "something is better than nothing." I'm just confused why SE expects us to be patient. What I want is an apology from SE and them telling us that they messed up, and some kind of recompense. And I do believe that had this been a pay to play model we'd be able to take this all better, but as our complimentary game time winds down, our ire becomes greater.
I'm some what concerned that there seems to be a large population of us that are so tolerant of poor service that those who aren't get blasted for demanding what they paid for...![]()

1. make a pretty damn good game
2. Run four phases of beta and collect data
3. Completely ignore data collected
4. Sit with their thumbs up their asses and their dicks in their ears as they watch their customer base get angrier and angrier and do absolutely nothing about it.

Sorry we all need a refund because the reason u have beta is to work out the problems before u put the game on the market ..I just spend 40 on this game and maybe played 14 hours bc the worlds was full.. It's a few was to solve the problem and that stop making more worlds and just make the ones bigger and put in place if ppl r afk more than 15 to 20 mins they should get auto kick from the game.. And I know ppl might be saying just use other worlds,,fck that I'm on my 3rd Chr before the other worlds was full I'm not going to be doing them sorry azz quest back over and over. Get this fix or money back!!!!
