    Summoner- Ruin I idea

    The biggest problem with single target DPS is the steep casting time on refreshing DoTs. Bane only has a 15% chance to refresh DoTs therefore its only worth using when cleaving. Ruin I will and always will be the bread and butter nuke for summoners, lets make it useful for the LACK of damage it does already. Make it increase ALL arcanist dots by 2.5 seconds thus reducing downtime refreshing dots and increasing nuke time on our pitiful ruin spam creating higher sustained damage.

    I'm a summoner and I feel really weak compared to others. What's more it's hard to get exp in fates due to caste times. The potency damage seems awful.

    Dot's in this game should only incur a 0.5 sec cd and the summoner DoT's should be Miasma 1 second cast (for pvp purposes, so you don't have an instant cast heal debuff/snare), while Bio and Bio II should be instant. Ruin II should be a 30 second CD and instead of blind apply all 3 of our DoT's. Ruin's potency should be increased to 150.

    The pet's damage should be increased, ESPECIALLY the AoE abilities they have, reduce recast time of them to 15 seconds for the pet and make them 220 potency. Enkindle should be a 10 sec cd as well for the damage it does.

    Have spur increase pet haste by 30% as well since it's double the recharge of Rouse.

    Tri-Disaster needs to be a 2 second cast and the potency should be raised to 160.

    You are playing wrong. Sorry to say that but there is no other explanation. I am getting FULL Fate exp ALWAYS. It's so easy.

    Depends on the Fate for me.

    Crossed sword Fates make Arcanist and its jobs look like a super stare simply because Bane can tag so many mobs.

    Boss Fates are a different story. I've gone all-out and have yet to get higher than a silver.

    That's because mobs have a hard cap on debuffs. So your DoTs do nothing, because as soon as you apply them they're already gone.

    Ruin I: DPS for Arcanist. A Solo nuke. Not for SMN. Not for party play.

    Ruin II: Same as Ruin I and has a Blind Debuff that also gets in the way of party play because it increases the Boss's resistance to an actually NEEDED Blind Debuff. Good for Soloing or Making EXP in FATEs not for 4 man or 8 man party play.

    Skip these on SMN if you're doing dungeons or Primals. Use Rouse or Spur instead.
