    Odin/Behemoth - visibility

    Now that we've had a taste of the Odin and Behemoth FATEs, I see a definite issue that I'm hoping Square Enix will fix - due to the enormous amount of people swarming to do the FATE, the monster at the heart of the FATE is rarely visible/targetable for any significant length of time.

    I'd really like Square Enix to ensure that when we're doing a FATE, the FATE target and our party members get priority over everyone else when it comes to rendering on a player's screen.

    Just give prioritize to the target. Group/party members are of little concern if you can still target them with party frames.

    Except you can't target what you can't see, even through those frames. Still, priorities.

    1. Hostile Mobs
    2. Party Members
    3. Passive mobs
    4. Raid members
    5. Passive NPCs(shopkeeps)
    6. Other players

    #6 is the big one. Random people who are not in your party are the least important thing and should be the first thing dropped from consideration in a crowded situation.

    Indeed, the fact that everyone's pointless minions were on my screen but not Behemoth was ridiculous tbh.

    Yeah to add to this, I saw Odin, and was able to hit him for like 5 minutes, but after everyone showed up he disappeared, and there was only a circle representing him I guess, but I could no longer attack him... But I sure did die from one of his invisible moves!

    And... Can someone make a thread for PS3 users about FATE lag? I would but I'm not allowed to start threads yet, I don't think. But, the PS3 version FATE's get so crowded that when you are doing moves GCD moves regular speed, but your character on screen is not doing the moves, sliding all around when you run, and is usually stuck in some animation not to mention that mobs show up almost after they are almost dead. In these cases, you just have to look at your GCD and trust that you are hitting the mobs.

    That would be a nice option. Or at least being able to control how many people will load on your screen at once. I think FFXI had an option like that.

    One of the first Behemoth FATE's I saw was only a few days after early access. And I'm sure like every other server, tons of people flocked to it and I couldn't see anything. I had to run in close to be able to hit it which in turn got me killed. ):

    Would like to see the high level fates, like Odin/Behemoth, to have a pulsating AE damage that hits all who don't have a certain item, such as a lvl48+ ring equipped, for 4k damage a pulse. Otherwise it hits for 50 damage every pulse on those that have certain item equipped.

    It's also worth nothing that there is a limit on how many debuffs a monster can have.

    As an Arcanist, it's impossible for me to get Gold on these FATEs, because WHM throwing around Aero constantly remove my DoTs.
