Yes, I am with you my brothers! I too am frustrated by my inability to log on and play this game. Keep in mind that this game had failed and got a second chance and they hadn't anticipated the buzz. Yes, I know it may sound like a BS excuse, but I believe this game is amazing (from what I've played.) Yes, it might suck not being able to play when you want to or have time, but whining like a bunch of 5 year old spoiled brats won't change it. Be patient my friends. The devs are working on getting it fixed, everything will smooth out! I know it might sound like I'm just a little fanboy or whatever, But I am really excited about this game. And so I really want to see it succeed. Sorry for my long rant, but I'm sure this issue will be solved ASAP. Thank you Square-Enix for remaking this game and when everything is sorted out, I and all of my friends will stay true!

I love this game too but it's kinda getting ridiculous.... seriously you have to fight your way in and hopping getting past 1017 and why the servers are full cause a bunch of dudes won't log off cause they're scared they won't be able to get back in c'mon guys some other people want to play to and have the common sense to log off when they're done with the game..... -_-

Square should put an ''idle time'' of like 15 mins in game so the people who don't log off well get logged off
and hopefully they will give us an extended 2 weeks for free or some kind of in-game item that would be great for all those troubles -_-

yeah i don't get why there is no afk log off, that was a stupid mistake that shouldn't have been over looked...I agree but I just really love it so far and don't like seeing everyone whining and complaining. I'm sure they are doing all they can all we can do is wait... i know i've wasted the majority of my long weekend trying to log in and play for maybe an hour or so.

I think i'm more pissed over the fact that people don't log off when they're done playing i saw someone say and i quote : '' I'm gonna do something stupid.... I'm gonna log off'' I was like i'll come over to your house and i'm gonna slap you in the face god some people are so self centered they only think about themselve for god sakes other people would like to play the game so LOG OFF when your done instead of being a stupid ass!!! Hope you guys that don't log off when you're done playing that if you play on ps3 you get a YLOD.....that would be awesome! anyways enough said -_-

Its all in the point of view, as an afkers we view those people who wants afk timer as bad people who wants us to get kicked out just because we are protecting ourselves against the dreaded 1017.

It is like being in a zombie movie wherein afkers are the survivors and the people who cant log in are the zombies who are out to get them so they could join their ranks.


I know it is sad to not be able to log in because of the crappy server capacity, but really some of us doesnt really want to afk it eats out our electric bill, but really we have no other choice because if we do log out, then we will be the one to not be able to log in.


It's every man for himself out there. If we give way we are not sure that those who log in will do the same as well.

It's BS is what it is, if you are not playing but leaving your character logged in then you are actively making he game less accessible to the other players. That makes you part of the problem; not the whole problem but a part of it.

But if we do log out, then want to play again, we will be the one getting error. Lets bw honest here. Both sides are just as greedy as the other one.

We are greedy because even though we do not play, we stay logged in blocking other players, but then again it is just a counter measure for us to be able to play whenever we want because we are paying for it


You guys want to get us kicked out because you also want to play because you also paid for the game.

Though it doesnt really do justice because even though we both paid for the game, we made an effort to actually be able to log in. We battled with the full server and when we won, we stayed in game so as to not clash with the error 1017 again. We deserved it. We paid for it. Se cannot kick us, kicking us means denying us to play even though we paid.

The solution to you guys who cant log in is simple really.

Wake up very early to avoid peak time, log in to the game, leave it there dont log out. Simple as that and you will not have to cry everytime you see players afk

we work hard to enter the game, we are savoring it by afking.

That's not a solution, you are actively making the game less fun for other players, that is not acceptable behavior. If you are not playing then you have no business being logged into the game. Part of the reason it is almost impossible to log in is that people are AFKing at all the major hubs.

You are not savouring anything by AFKing you're just being a brat, like the kid who refuses to share his colouring pens, even though he isn't using them.

Not really being a brat but more of trying to enjoy the game. You see, the ones being brats are those who want to drag the afkers down to their level just because they are jealous.

People whine about afkers because they cant log in the game. Now just because you guys cant log in, why do we have to suffer? We all started the same, we started with the error 1017, difference is, we pushed through it and got pass. We made an effort to wait to log in, and when we did, we do not want to suffer again so to protect our victory we afk.

So frankly, afkers dont deserve to be kicked out just because some jealous whiny players cant log in and wants them to join their suffering.
