Same here. Got put in a queue waited then it started to load (yay!). Before I it even finishes error 1017 (NOOOOO). Goes back to title screen then press start. Cannot load NA/EU servers. (aww wtf man!) Makes a character on Jp servers. Gets in no problem. (╯°□°）╯︵┻━┻

Haha, yeah I did that at first. I made an EU character and played there for awhile but when I found out that they aren't going to allow transfers until the middle of September I decided to try my luck back in the NA servers. I was able to make an NA character.. if you get lucky you'll catch a split moment where the where the character restrictions are lifted.. but most of the time now, even in the JP servers its always full and you can't make new characters at all lol. So depressing lol!!! And I bought TWO copies.. so my boyfriend and I could play together... ahhah...

I haven't been able to log in on my JP character since Friday, aside from the one time I was queued and got in and then disconnected - that was my jp character. I haven't been on my main since Friday either. I was reading parts of a rather poorly google-translated japanese thread this morning. They've been having problems too (since launch, surprisingly enough? The earliest posts in the thread were dated the 27th). They are also pretty angry. I definitely saw 'take money' and 'fraud' (not that I necessarily agree on all the fraud arguments, despite how extremely frustrated I've been). Oh and I also saw 'tendinitis' which made me laugh really, really hard.

I know how you feel... this is my second day of trying to get on... this is my fourth hour straight walking around pressing the "x" button (PS3) so that I'm constantly cycling back through trying to break past the 1017 error... so pathetic! hahah But I really don't want to give up! I'm too excited to play this game.

I have a rising concern that this week's addition of servers isn't going to be enough and that we will continue to have issues... They have halted sales of the digital copies, new character creation and are currently limiting the number of people who can log in. I wonder if the additional servers will be enough to accommodate people who don't even have the game yet and the large amount of players who will reroll on different servers. I also have a question regarding their overall business promotion model. After the first 24hrs of sales, they should have had a good idea about what first week sales would have been like... Did they knowingly sell more copies than they had server space for? From the sounds of it, they could double server space and not have enough... Piss Poor imo.

You are so right. I actually saw a commercial in GameStop yesterday when I was picking up my second copy of the game advertising the game. They are still advertising for a game people can't play?? And knowing they are having problems?? Kinda strange... lol And false advertisement lol

Same thing just happened to me. I've been pretty patient with the game lately, seeing as I could get in with a bit of effort. That last couple of hours or so have been pretty impossible. I finally got queued, 30th in line, just to be 1017 again. Trolled. D:

Yeah, I can't imagine it yields much hope lol. I was just confused and surprised by it. I know everyone has been asking for a queue amongst other things.. but I didn't know they actually made one. They haven't made any sort of announcement.

There has been a queue since day one....It just doesn't work properly.

I got a Queue during Open Beta at one point, but it worked then too.

Once the server is completely full again after a queue is made, it boots everyone else, which defeats the entire point of a queue.

step 2: select start at main menu
step 3: Select Character
step 4: plead to the computer gods to let me in
step 5: receive error 1012
step 6: scream profanities at computer screen
step 7: rinse and repeat
