I still say no to jumping....Don't worry to much about it Mr. Hedgehog. This argument is as one sided and boring as:
1. No to jumping.
2. Yes to hardcore(easymode FFXI timesink) game play.
3. No to helm hiding.
4. No to superior western MMO genre advancements.
5. No to instanced dungeons.
6. No to combat logs.
Anytime the best arguments presented for or against a change relate to "my sense of immersion" "community" "realism" or "my feelings" all that can be done by sane people is too let it go.
Blizzard handed SE, on a silver plater, the best possible way to keep a game focused on group play, they ignored it at launch when enough people played to have single server ques work and now are shifting gears towards this. I don't support it but only because i still hate them for not doing it right in the first place.

I am yes as well, there shouldn't be any negativity about it, ignore it if disliked simple and clean.
Honestly it is hard to suck at this game. As an Archer I press my "I WIN" button. Same goes for any of the other classes I have played so far. Only thing I can see you sucked at is messing up Battle Regimens.
Well considering the servers themselves wont be empty I'm sure you'll have plenty of chance to group up with people within one server. Funny no one was even thinking about this before today and suddenly we have people defending it as if it'll make or break the game. Either way, I think its stupid but I don't care what they choose to do, the game as it is today kinda sucks so whatever I guess it can't get worse. And to Dargoth, this doesn't mean anything like you said here:I think this would be a good idea for players that like to solo. Also a good idea for players with limited time to play and want to team up for some sp. The fact is that even though some players are on a MMO doesn't mean they want a linkshell or to socialize. I also think after players learn the system they will do fine. I think anyone playing strives to do well, not be a hinderance to a group.
For all we know this only means that when you go to the dungeon you wanna run you walk in and then you're put in queue, this can be done with people from within the server which would be fine cuz you got a rep to worry about within the server and wont fuck around - and for those that say that rep doesn't matter any more, I have been there on two occasions in FFXI where people re-rolled their character after reaching their 50s because no one would group up with them. This kind of system gives them a free for all and who cares, so If I'm to vote I vote against it, but if its implemented so be it i guess we'll see how great (or not) it turns out.Basically you are sitting in town, you hit a button sign up to do the dungeon and you get put into a queue time, when the group fills up (filled up by people from yours and other servers) you get ported to the dungeon. You run the dungeon with the group you got put in.
I think people are commenting about it today after reading the dev tag.
Well battle system is changing because it sucks, so if they make it more party oriented as they plan to do with dungeons it might be possible to suck.
there are many people who completely fail at this game. For example: Those on keyboard that can't use the basic keyboard commands to execute BRs or even their regular skills. Anyone who clicks skill instead of using the hotkeys = less than par.
Another example: Was in my first pickup party ever in this game. GLA never put up his shield (r45 mind you..) and only spammed 1.
It's fairly easy to suck at this game.
