How about you try to read my posts? It's random because that's how they've implemented it so far in previous games, has it occurred to you that perhaps because of our feedback they might consider going another route that would not be so random?

Say no to cross-country running! Who wants to run across multiple countries?!
Seriously. Cross-world might not mean what you think it does. I'm pretty confident it just means you can finally invite from anywhere in the world. I highly doubt SE would even be able to pull off a LFG system that allows you to party up with players on other servers anyway. No offense, SE...

Actually I did consider that possibility. The language they use is "ワールドの垣根", which literally means "World Fence". It's possible that they just mean being able to cross the boundaries when inviting to party.

ROFL.. You might just be right. XDSay no to cross-country running! Who wants to run across multiple countries?!

What if a player logs in, and ends up spending two hours looking for a dungeon group. Is that better?
Dungeon queues for DPS in WOW are 1+ hour, so sure why not.
Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know I was posting on the WOW forums... better check my bookmarks. I'll move along.
Also, FFXIV allows you to have multiple classes available to a single character... which opens up a lot of options. Just FYI.
