::Climbs up on a soap box::
I have limited coding experience, and I kinda think the team at SE are busting their butts to solve this issue...but the one thing that grinds my gears is the issue of the AFK players. SE is going to reward people for beating the system and being straight up dicks to the rest of the community by offering them (us too) a free extra week. One thing that I do know that they have control over however, is the ability to reset the server. Why not every night at midnight, until this is fully addressed, reset all servers and kick the AFKers off. Its not like you use the Bazaar system anymore (the main reason an AFK person isn't kicked, is because the game use to utilize a system where players could sit their character down overnight and people can run by and get wares from them). At least by doing something on this measure, you'll be showing your patrons that you're compassionate to their strife.
To wake up at 5-6 am, and have a World is full error is madness, because I know the realm wasn't full of souls, but just empty Toons waiting for their masters to return. In the meantime, people who actually want to play the game, can't.
Finally, why not have a second Queue that leads to the general queue? I find this rather odd, because it seems that the Queue lets a large group in at one time, and sometimes people who are pounding at the system sneak past a member actually in queue. Why not let us see how long its going to take to actually get in? I don't mind knowing that I'll have 30-40 minutes if not more, of wait time to get into the realm. At least I could do something more productive than clicking over and over.
Your customer base is more upset at the lack of respect your product has for our time. Speaking for my friends and family that play, we only want to know how long it'll be, and get relief from constant clicking. You have a winning product here, don't lose a base of people over this...and for the love of god, do right to us. Respect our time.
