PS3 gameplay fixes or change skill durations. (Tired of button mashing)

Ok I really liked this game up until I hit 50 started to get more cross class skills and hit up level 50 dungeons I'm on PS3 and the Hotbar system sucks when you have so many skills to use, I remember where all my skills are on each set, I have 2 Hotbars set up so knowing is not the problem. When a battle is intense switching between sets is kind of hard, because everything in this game is button mashing so trying to dodge AoEs not fall of the dang Bridge (Demon Wall), So sometimes I think I'm switching sets but I'm still on the same set. We don't even have 24 man raids yet so I can see how this Hotbar is going to be even worse for us PS3 users when it comes time for end-game. The only level 50 I have is MNK I don't think the Hotbar would really be that big of a deal if some Skill Durations were longer lets say Touch of Death its 30sec with a recast of 2.5 why not just increase the duration of skills like these, so make ToD 1min with a 5sec recast? I'm hearing other PS3 users say oh its not bad but half the people who are saying this aren't even close to level 50 and don't have nearly as many skills as they should be using for end game. I don't mind the button mashing but some of it is really unnecessary. Another issue is targeting suck Trying to target a mob end up targeting a EGI instead. Fates when there are more than like 100 people you cant see the mobs. So my only gripes are Targeting, unable to see fate mobs in high traffic areas, And the biggest one is the HotBar someone even said that if we could hold L2+R2 and it brings up another set of skills I would be happy with that. But the way things are now PS3 users are getting the short end of the stick.

I tank and have 3 hotbars it gets crazy sometimes but its no different than pc

I'm with WhyICan'tUseBetaForumName. I'm also on PS3 and I made up macros for combo skills for my level 20ish gladiator to free up space. Works well and alleviates the button mashing.

I can try some macros out but I heard that they are off in timing so that's why I never did but when I'm able to get on next time I'll make some and see. Anyone know what the /?? for skills are?

I am not having an issue with hotbar and I am a lvl 44 dragoon but my only problem is I switch the hotbar so fast to the point where when I am mashing the skill but it does not want to come out . So I would have to let go of the buttons I am pressing and let it register that i switch hot bars.
