Great tip about the threat bars! I didn't even notice and have been tanking on feel the whole time, but still successfully. I would try NOT to spam flash if you can because it ruins the blind effect by making the enemies immune to it. I usually try not to flash again until the first blind effect wears off, then flash for another 6 seconds of blind. Once you have Rage of Halone, it is much easier to tank multiple mobs. So far, if the DPS focus on my initial target, I will shield lob, flash, and Fast Blade - Savage Blade - Rage the first mob. Then, if there are 3 mobs, I get a savage blade in on one and a rage on the other, or a full combo if only two mobs. Then I go back to the first mob to make sure he doesn't bolt since the DPS have been wailing on him. From there, it is just managing the threat of each one with rotating savage blades and rages. I just got Rage yesterday, and it makes a world of difference.

With so many DPS'ers hitting targets out of order, I tend to wonder if they are lazy and have their attacks macro'ed to target whatever I'm hitting so they can just spam one button all the time. My dmg isn't all that great, but oftentimes targets #2 and #3 usually aren't far behind #1 in hp loss.

A simple solution is this if you are the tank you inform the party. that "If you spank it, you tank it." and enforce that. so if that DPS goes crazy, you stand back and watch and if they die sucks to be them and don't rez them, if you play a healer same rule applies they spank it they tank it, with no heals.

Now as a tank if they refuse to attack the target you are I would inform the healer not to heal them since they refuse to help, only time the DPS should not attack the same target is when it goes after the healer. if you are using marks tell them that this symbol is target 1 this target is a sleep and save this mark target for last. if they refuse to do that then they are a remedial player and need to sloth their way back to WoW.
