At the following time, we will be performing maintenance on FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn to perform the operations listed below. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will be unavailable.

- Implementation of countermeasures to handle the influx of concurrent user counts as a result of split processing the duty finder

10 hour maint.

Before anyone ups and rages about the "time". People can't even get on to "play" anyways, so the time makes very little difference anyways .

I'm glad there is maintenance to fix these things. I don't care about the scheduled time, as long as the game gets better. It's fine by me! Besides, I have studying to do for a test on Wednesday anyways.

Lol. Way to go Square ! A maintenance right on the peak hours for NA/EU. Now we know what to expect: Priority on their JP players. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if us, NA/EU players, would be experiencing the same issues as soon as the maintenance is over...

I'm sure some issues will still linger, no question about that. However, I do believe that most of the issues will be dissolved. ( Everyone be positive) :P.

LoL not just peak hours but peak hours on Labor Day when majority of the players are off work today planning on spending the entire day in front of the computer.

Glad I am at work until 5pm CST. However I am sure I will rage a little while bored tonight with nothing else to do.

adding new worlds is a good first step, but it isn't going to help the people on already existing servers who are having trouble logging in.

people who have put work into a character, and will be either forced to start completely over on a new server, or continue to battle full world errors

They have to get it resolved, they have no choice. If they don't, well.....pitchforks and torches at the data center...they'll loose a big customer base for sure. People aren't going to put up with this very much longer, only the real die hards.

You forgot these 2 as they are extremely important to this "10 hour" Maint. :P

They have to get it resolved, they have no choice. If they don't, well.....pitchforks and torches at the data center...they'll loose a big customer base for sure. People aren't going to put up with this very much longer, only the real die hards.

#1 They lasted a week and still trying to get in, to me I see them as "die-hards" just as well as the other people are XD.
#2 If most of the issues are gone and only small issues remain, I think people will be alright with it, "as long as people can get in within 20 min lol"
#3 I am sure by the end of 1 month, we will all look back and laugh at how angry a lot of people were.
#4 I do agree with you, most of these issues need to be resolved ( at least put in a better functioning Queue).
