1. Agree.

2. Agree.

3. No... Not only fate. To much EXP in general. However without it, it would be even more boring because you would realize 99% of the quests are stupid.

4. Agreed.

5. No... There is some diversity in later levels, although yes... The features in the character selector are very similar.

6. Agreed. Limit breaks, summons, and the whole fight mechanism were what made FF. This game has no battle mechanisms it's pure button tapping.

7. No... Not only no gear in dungeons. Useless items in general. Items can't reasonably be used, sold, or collected. There are many different types of items, 99% of them useless. Fishing is useless. Killing monsters to get items is useless, etc. Items are not useable, eatable, throwable, sellable, etc. etc. There are some exceptions such as using items for crafting, but meh. You could also buy the items from an NPC. In some cases where you need to search for the item it would be very frustrating.

8. No... Not only annoying. Stupid. Pick up things 2 feet away on the ground. Deposit these things 2 feet away. 99% of the quests are NOT quests by the dictionary definition. The quests in FF14 take control of the player, rather than the player embarking on a journey, a QUEST, for a specific purpose such as to discover knowledge or to gather a new weapon, skill, or power. There is no point to the quests in FF14 except to gain EXP and level, which itself has no point either except to discover the main story line (which in addition to some other things is a good thing).

9. Agreed. Way too easy. It needs a variety of gameplay styles from the beginning.

Agreed. It's an average game with SOME above average elements. If they listen to feedback, they CAN improve it. They SHOULD improve it. They COULD improve it.

Also it should NOT cost money. They had FFXI already. Why not just improve on that? Now that they have this, they should improve on this. It is a HUGE undertaking to build a game of this scope and caliber. They are ALMOST there, which is a lot farther than many MMO's have gotten.
