Game is loading forever

Hello,

After I click the start button the game is loading forever as you can see at the following link:

I have left it like this for 30 minutes now and the wheel keeps spinning. I've tried both fullscreen and windowed mode without any luck.

anyone knows to tell me if this is server side or some kind of bug ?

Your PC cant play the Opening Sequence Video.
Try to fix it with new drivers or codecs.
Another methode is to find "FFXIV.cfg" on your PC and edit the entry CutsceneMovieOpening to 1.

my .cfg data is at C:\Users\xxx\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn

You need to get it fixed man. You're missing out on all the errors and the opening cinematic.

Thanks alot Rakuri! Changing the value at ffxiv.cfg fixed it!

Any idea if the cause of that are the VGA drivers or something else ?
I'd appreciate it if you know to guideline me somehow!

Dunno what errors you mean but I logged into the game after 2 minutes of queue without errors. Server Odin EU.

my problem is the Media Player with win7 Pro-N.
My solution is to install a normal Win7 :P

you should fix it fast, because by the next Video Sequence the game will stuck again.
You have time till Level 15.
