Well it is good you were like that, but you probably are lucky to not have been in the auto-parties with the nerd ragers or the people that need on everything or the people that leave after they got what they wanted. What you have described is not in any way a problem created by the dungeon finder tool(DFT).
Selfish, uncaring people will be around with or without a DFT.
Even though i spent my time in WoW with cutting edge gear/skills(lol) i never hassled new/under-geared players.
On the contrary, i always let new players learn encounters and was always supportive/helpful. I established a lighthearted, enjoyable tone early and runs with me were always a blast.
A DTF wont ever make me a dlck and i doubt that it has made anyone else.
It is not luck based at all. Most everyone i have ever met, in life or in games will respond to kindness with kindness.
Developers cannot make a selfless community. I have to do it and you have to do it. We must be active in our excitement about playing with each other and also be patent or let go of people that wrong us.
In the end, people wont skip out on me if i give them a reason not to. people wont nerd rage on me ever and people will share loot when i am around.
Why? because i command it with good play, hugs, kisses and all my best wishes =)
If in any game the problems you have described keep happening to you i would suggest reevaluating how you treat others.
I am not saying you are a jerk or w/e.
I just hear the same thing over and over with every game i play when i very rarely have these problems even with an exorbitant amount of play time. I almost always have a good time with DFT systems. I have an incredibly high success rate on my mains, on alts, it doesn't matter.
Power of positive thinking people!
