/sigh
No crap. However, if I'm looking for Buffalo Hides and there are 3 guys selling it for a reasonable price (<20k) and 10 people selling it for dumb prices (>24k) I dont want to waste my time checking all the starred retainers.
Then you should have been more specific, as you said for improvements you want a marking feature:
Which the improvement you'd like to see exists.-Item search results list stays up as you are running around ward. I dont want to jot down the names and locations of the retainers where I want to buy items.
Not sure what your deal is. I meant exactly what I said. I'd like to have a search list stay up so I dont have to jot down the names and locations of the retainers where I want to buy the items.
Don't bother with that one, she's/he's too thick headed he'll argue everything with nothing and nothing with everything. Anyway, great topic guys, thanks for partaking.
Based on your arguments it seems like you dislike the fact you were wrong about something more than her being "thick headed".
Even Ab pointed out how you were given answers but didn't want to accept them.

Ok, I'm wrong and you're right although there is no wrong and right answer here just as I would've stood against someone giving me half assed pros for an AH all the "pros" for the MWs are ones that could be implemented in an AH apart from impulse purchasing, and all I said was I doubt that's why they went with the MWs so if there is something else SE is holding back I would like to know what it is cuz at this point its only there so they can charge extra for retainers in the future. (majority of the responses were in the vicinity of AH only has 7 slots!, AH you have to open menus to use!, i.e., stupid responses....some were good but I don't think that was SE's reasons behind the MW) Go ahead and point out one response that solidifies the MW's existence and makes this topic null, go ahead, from all the responses pick the best one, you can understand that I may have missed one or two consider there's like 80 responses already.
Let's pretend for a moment that you can't remember a retainer name for more than 10 seconds (It happens to all of us from time to time). You use the search function to mark the item you are looking for, note the retainers you would like to purchase from, then travel to the appropriate ward. If at that point you forgot which retainers you were looking for, and couldn't recognize the name when you see it under that big pink star, then I believe all that needs to happen is for the search function to start at the item which you currently have starred. That should be ample reminder, no?

Having the search function start where it left off could be helpful feature, but I think more often then not we'd get annoyed when searching for new items that we have to back out to the main search menu first. Perhaps a menu option that brings up the last search results.Let's pretend for a moment that you can't remember a retainer name for more than 10 seconds (It happens to all of us from time to time). Also, I was just offering suggestions on how to improve the current system. Its become somewhat annoying recently when hunting down biast scales in wards. Theres usually 4-5 people that have them up for sale at a good price, but they are scattered all over the place. Having a search list that stays up would definitely be of help, but its honestly not that big of a deal.
I guess my implication was not clear. Having the search results return to the marked item would imply that when you stop searching for said item, the search would start from the beginning again. But yes, last search results would also be a good idea.Having the search function start where it left off could be helpful feature, but I think more often then not we'd get annoyed when searching for new items that we have to back out to the main search menu first.
