how did they become so likable and at what point did they seem like viable neutral NPCs....? cause they are pretty awesome if you think about it.

I'm gonna go with the Gobbiebag quests and Moblin Mazes in XI. They were terribly endearing even then, and proved that an entire race/species wasn't necessarily "evil".

I'm still holding out for a Goblin King, though. Were Moogle King and Tonberry King not great additions to Eorzea?

I'd love to see more storyline involving our Gobbie friends!
