I think your character stands rock steady cause your character doesn't feel so fresh. XD

I was happy to see the Minions have idle animations, at least. That adorable Demon block falls over.
I wouldn't mind an idle animation, though it reminds me of the endless shuffling in the 1.0 market wards and I'd rather they just add an additional standing position for each race and gender that you could choose to use.
For example, let the Midlander guys stand all alert looking like the guy behind the counter at the Pugilist's guild, and let the male Miqo'te unkink their fingers and calm down a bit (their inability to do so leads me to suspect that the poor guys are the Miqo'te version of twisty cats).
I want to scratch my nonexistent ass and yawn like a goobbue.
I'd laugh if one of the miqo'te idle animations has them tossin' around a ball of yarn of their hair color :3

I'd take idle animations over mobs/bosses not appearing in fates and then dying before I can get in a hit and miss out on exp. Yes I'm on the PS3 and yes it sucks late game when there are so much on screen. But yeah its pretty bad. Might have to upgrade to PS4 version or just give up entirely once my crysta runs out.
Mh, no thanks. Idle animations tend to demand assumptions be made about a character's personality. It's very easy to trip into TERA's territory with, for instance, the Elin inexplicably doing cat impressions while they idle.. whereupon the race suddenly loses a lot of its charm to anyone wants to try and take their character seriously.
If they could do it in a subtle way - the odd scuffed foot or shift to favouring one leg.. maybe it'd be nice. But I just can't shake the sense that the overblown, irritating type of idle movement is a hundred times more likely.

I'd like idle animations for standing, sitting, and on mounts. Mostly sitting, though. They all look so...proper! Back straight, head held up, hands on their knees; you're adventurers! You just slew Behemoth! Lean back, throw your arm over the side of the chair, cross your legs, something! It's the most minor of complaints I have, but I do hope we get something like this eventually.
Idle animations in Tera drove me away. They are not so much idle animations as they are constant goofy sets of animations which I wish I could have shut off and the fact that they were running all the darn time. In effect, there was no idle. Drove me nuts.Mh, no thanks. Idle animations tend to demand assumptions be made about a character's personality. How about throw in some interesting idle animation after standing idle for 10 minutes then another at some random time another 10 minutes+ later.
