    I like it for normal parties but am already annoyed that they didn't think to have alliances. We've had to cut out people several times or cycle people in and out when doing NMs. I just dont like excluding people - especially in my own LS. The numbers weren't needed for the NMs but it was just nice (I say again) to include people.

    I'm sure they will at some point design content specifically for alliances but the party size reduction was to accommodate all the other battle content. It's easier for them to balance the content for 8 people as there are many fewer variables to consider, especially when certain classes are at the moment outright broken.

    No matter what the number, there's always a chance you'll be excluding someone. When you organize LS events of any kind maybe you should consider that now. Maybe try to get 2 groups together to hunt NMs, encourage people who won't fit in group 1 to find others and do something else. If your members aren't understanding of the fact that you already have a full party, you may have larger issues on your hands. 8 is actually a pretty nice number considering some MMOs allow even less (4 or 6). Guild Wars only allowed parties of 8 after a certain point.

    LS Leve parties that have 9 or more people should simply split into smaller groups, it's not hard to process.
    As for NM's my LS hasn't had much trouble with 4-8 man parties for NMs even before the nerf to the NMs
    But we practice and have good team work that others may still be developing.
    It shouldn't be too big of an issue to either add more members so that 2 groups can go kill NMs or simply rotate members.

    This honestly sounds like very simple to solve problems, but, if an LS can't work with this, or solve the problem,
    then I would simply find a better group to run with.
    (just sounds like there is a bigger issue with the LS management than with the party size)

    It's great, 15 man groups required no skill (not that the game requires much to begin with mind you) and was just a mess of players all trying to fit something before it died.

    Hopefully when the new battle system and dungeons are introduced the game will much more challenging.

    15 people was too much, but seriously the mobs are the problem not the party, the mobs were never balanced, even for trios, the mobs were always too easy.

    the 8 man limit isn't bad, especially since it forces people to be team players, and also means that they must use thier brains in said party. In summary: Learn to use battle regimens, and no free rides to r50. I can see where it may be a problem with large-scale NM hunts or endgame/raids, but we don't really have anything like that atm, and would likely be addressed when we finally do get them.

    I liked the 15 man crazy shit that went down during behests. It was sloppy and fun. The problem I see now is that only 8 people can sign up for Behest or something, right? Sooooooo I have to fight for sign ups with people unless I can meet up with friends who are willing to do Behests in a new location.
