Getting 1017 on the character selection screen?

Hey, just another fan trying to log in.
So, something weird is happening today. I keep getting the 'world is full' error, better known as 1017, on the character selection screen.

I've had the lobby server crash before, but never have I gotten the 'world is full' error from it. Is this to be expected or is something weird going on here?

No, I am not new to Internet forums.
This is the technical support forum, I'm encountering an issue that I have not before, a scan of the front page of the technical support forums suggested no other topics with a similar issue. Since I'm getting 1017 at the character selection screen, and not when I'm trying to actually pick my character to log in with it, it seemed to warrant a post. Please do not make assumptions of me for asking a question.

it happens, its probably been mentioned. Like it give you the error before even seeing your character.

I see, so other people are having the same problem. That's what I wanted to know.

For me the error was occurring sometimes immediately after selecting Start from the title screen.
