I have been trying for 2 hours and I made it into a queue once and got kicked out after one person got in....this is ridiculous. They rest of the time I have been fighting 2002, 1017, and unable to update NA/EU...

I know you guys are bogged, but when I can't even make it to the character screen w/o getting 1017'd, things are nuts.

I will state it again: You need to purge the server to relieve it of the damn afk'ers that infest all of the servers. Just announce it, purge it, reopen, voila.

They still need to open up more room for current servers and have more new servers, but your solution would be a cool fix for now...just wait till Wednesday.
I haven't been able to get on since Last night on Saturday, none yesterday and I'm not going to bother today.

New servers is not a solution for those who already has paid for the game and are attempting to play. New servers are a solution to making sure they can sell more digital copies of the game to new people wanting to play, nothing more.

Also, more room on the current servers is most likely not needed anymore either, the majority of the issues stem from the concurrent users in which many of them are not actively playing the game. More room just turns into more people remaining logged in while away from the game.
Adding the AFK timer will go a long way into solving a large portion of the problems both during actual game play and in the lobby server. Concurrent user base will drop creating a situation were the lobby server isn't constantly being bombarded by thousands of players spamming the 0 key to try and hit that minute of time when the queue opens.

New servers I believe is just an added solution, it is not one for one and one for the others, they are adding new realms and expanding pop for servers to accommodate for SO much traffic. And AFK timer IS needed, but chances are it's just not on the right now list, the servers are. An afk timer is also a lot harder to implement since the game's structure doesn't have the slot for one (it wasn't made with it in mind) so it'll take a bit more time to create.

I don't like the new server idea, at the end of the days, it's going to grow empty and there will be a merge.
I feel like expanding current servers will help out, the first day, people coulda log because people were actively playing and it was full.
This was before the masse problems, it's just gotten worse from there on. In following months AFK probably won't be needed as much but something has to happen now. So I wouldn't mind it.

I know people know, and I know it could be worse. I was more of making it to restate my idea of the purge and to focus in on the fact that even if they are bogged, this amount of flow constriction is absolutely insane. I'm in a low-pop world, your problem might be the fact that you're in Gilgamesh, that's always been high pop.

Even besides the already awful login issues, you're trying to log in on Labor Day. That wasn't going to happen no matter how smoothly the launch up to this point had been.
