    LNC/DRG equipment choice NEED/GREED

    Hello Dev Team,

I have experienced a bug twice now where i am in a dungeon and a piece of armor dropped. The classes it was for were MAR, GLA, PAL, WAR, LNC and DRG.
But at both occasions i could NOT select NEED. I always ended up selecting GREED wich resulted at the tank runing away with the item.

After checking stats it wasnt per se an item more for the tank then for the DPS. So i felt cheated out of that item not having an honest chance for it. I have heard this about my fellow FC members having the same problem.

We dragoons wear heavy armor not leather that drops for all classes.

I hope you can fix this problem.

    Supporting FFARR all the way!

    Regards,

    V'ritra.

I've had this exact problem and it's been more then once. I have a funny feeling that unless this gets changed we LNC/DRG will have this problem every time the gear is heavy. Brayflox Longstop, for example, has 2 sets of heavy gear that drop. One set is MRD, WAR, GLD, PLD only and the other is the same with LNC/DRG. I didn't get a single one of the LNC/DRG drops because I couldn't "Need" on them.

I think the issue is the gear is tied to role and not class/job. So because it's heavy the tank role defaults to be able to "need" even though LNC/DRG is clearly listed in the classes. So because we LNC/DRG's are DPS we get screwed out of it.
