There are two types of Stones, Philosophy and Mythology. One type you're limited per week, the other you're not.

Darklight is obtained from the unlimited Stones. And they're relatively easy to get, too. You get 100 from both of the last two story missions, for example, and fewer from each boss in the 41 dungeon onward. If you do dungeons with any frequency it'll be easy to get.

There is no cap for the DarkLight Armor, only for the other one. Just go Amdapor Keep, let tank rush to the bosses, let him die, ress him and you only have to kill the bosses in the instance. 15 Minuten = 80 Tomestones.

It costs tier 1 allagan tomestones (one blue stripe), which do not have the 300-per-week limit. You're able to get these tomestones for exchanging gear with cracked materia slotted in it to the calamity salvager.

My HQ Hart Guisarme with 3-4 materia in it gave me 500 tomestones, for example. By exchanging my other gear with 1-2 materia for roughly 50-100 tomestones each, I was able to afford the Darklight Cuirass (800 tomestones I think).

You get 300 Mythology per week, which is Artifact2 (as it seem is best gear at the moment)
However, you get darklight from Philosophy that have no limit per week at all. So yeah, people can go crazy farming to get it, Or being 1.0 player and have it.

Not even close to the best gear in the game. There is the Allagan set, Odin set as well as AFv2 and all are better than DL destroy it and take a long time to get.

Dungeon Gear = Grinding Fodder
AF = Primal and Endgame Diapers
DL = Endgame Big Boy Pants
AFv2 & Allagan = I'm so Pro!
