Friend Wishes To Teleport (no more?)

Not sure if this is the right forum to make this thread... if not, please move it! Apologies!

Anyway. For a while whenever I or my wife would teleport, the other one would get a message saying, 'soandso wishes to teleport you' and you would say yes and follow them.

As of yesterday, it no longer gives that option. Ever. Are we suddenly doing something wrong or was the feature disabled? Or maybe this is just a bug/error?

1) make sure you're in a party together
2) be sure to teleport to an aetheryte both of you have attuned to

beyond that i'm not sure what else would be wrong :/

I think it'll be a great idea if the devs made it so we could just teleport to our friends whether we're in a party with them or not (at a cost of game currency of course)

Yes! I've played other games that have a 'summon friend/partner' its much handier

Would be an awesome thing if they added that feature as well as displaying map to for the places we're about to teleport to. I can't remember half of the names of the places i've been but I'm able to know where I want to go via the map.

What I used to do before memorizing the names was open map -> select continent -> select area -> see which Aetheryte is in that area.

Yeah. Call me lazy if you want but having the map displayed while your strolling through the areas you want to teleport to would be handy rather then memorizing the map and/or doing the process you listed above :-(

I've seen some screenshots of people who have their map as part of the UI, always open just semi-transparent maybe only taking up a fifth of the left hand screen.

You also have to be pretty close together in the party while you have your teleport going otherwise you won't be able to port the other person. Maybe be as close together as you have to be for buffs? Like how close you have to be to get Protect and Medica?
