Level 25 Gladiator Quest, On Holy Ground help.....

Ok I'm having some major problems with this quest. I'm at the part where I'm fighting in the graveyard. I've managed to stun the hundred fist move, but after that I can't get close to attack without taking major damage, I've tried this quest 8 times now, ready to give up and move on to different class. Do I just need to be at a higher level? I'm level 27 now.

I'll take any hints please,

This is the one with the pugilist duel right? If so I'm pretty sure she still uses 100 fists even after being stunned its like a non stop barrage of attacks. I would advise to keep a distance when she activates it till it stops. Also iirc there's a timer when the ability goes off under her hp bar so you can keep track of it.

I don't see any complication with the quest, succeeded the first time. I didn't worry much about the abilities of the enemy, just moved away of the area marked in red and that was it. I just bothered to Stun when I needed to heal a little using Cure or a Hi-Potion to have more time for doing that, and just needed to do that like 2 or 3 times.

Try again and don't lose hope. GLA is a great class and PLD too so keep trying and hopefully you will succeed.

This quest gave me trouble for a while - it basically comes down to having to avoid the AoE attack the PGL uses (Gutripper) so as to keep your HP at max at all times, so that you can survive Hundred Fists. When she goes all 'two hour' at about a quarter health left, this is where you have to keep spamming Shield Bash to stun her (it also does a fair amount of damage too). You'll probably just scrape across the line, but with a decent set of armour, sword and shield, and keeping your health up before she uses Hundred Fists, you should win the battle (battered and bruised though ).

Also I think Aldis was a douche for just standing there and just making snide comments about your 'progress'.

I just lollygagged into this quest and got worked when she went all hundred fists. Went back for round two a little better prepared. She doesn't do much damage until she hits with Hundred Fists so I just saved my cooldowns till that point, and then burned her down. Food buffs and the Protect spell are always helpful.

I've tried it 3 more time with no success, I even bought megs-potions. I stunned her hundred fist but she still hits too hard and fast when she is low on health, and I can't do enough damage to her. I end up dead,

I am kinda a lousy player, just sorta react. I don't get the moving out of the way thing and I actually despise WASD. Didn't this control scheme go out about 1988? Anyway. This quest completely kicks my butt. I have now done it about ten times and get no where. Time to try another class.

First time I went into this quest, I tried to curespam my way through Hundred Fists. Almost worked, too; I weathered the duration of the buff, but with very little hp and no mp left, I needed to get off a Riot Blade and then start curing again... which didn't quite happen.

Came back the second time, clicked off the echo buff, and burned my way through.
