This is ridiculous. I thought the NA would be the last of my problems, and I felt the gamble of starting on an EU server would save me from the ranting's the NA server has been getting day and night. If that doesn't make thing's worse? This is exactly how I felt when I tried to log in the EU
7PM :
<Error : World is full>
8PM:
<Greyed out start button>
9PM:
<Lobby server connection has encountered an error>
<Cannot update EU/NA list>
<Lobby server connection has encountered an error>
<Cannot update JP list>
At this point I figured, hey atleast the EU/NA list finally loaded---EEEEK , WRONG
<World is full>
<Greyed out Start>
<World is full>
If this doesn't get any worse? Clicking start doesn't even get you to the list! It automatically gives you the
<World is full>
and just loops you back to the beginning!
It is now 1:37 AM and I have had it in trying to get on, I feel I've seen too many errors that when dinner arrived late all I told the delivery guy was "Error 90000" and didn't tip him.
What really infuriates me is how much money they've made off this well enough to call it a scam. And yes I call it that because they knew what they were expecting ever since the Beta phase, they should have known how many people tried to register, how many played often and how many keys were damned bought because every damned registered key runs through their retarded soduku like registration page which makes absolutely no sense in the end. It's no secret Squeenix is like EA, they love money, the more the merrier, and what do they do with all that money? Play it safe, to the point where they know they're making a massive profit out of it well enough to not find the need to update their servers thinking the furious/irate ones would just rage quit and leave making it easier for them to not find the need for a server blade upgrade! Everyone states "just wait for Sept 4 and let's see what happens" well they should have had all this planned ahead! 4 Beta testing's and 1 early access is well enough of a time span to let them expand their framework!
As a guy who works heavily into the IT industry, our high end clients wouldn't be as so much patient with the number of times you can come up with an excuse to say "The server blades can handle it, we don't need a new one". They have had their testing phase, they have had their design phase, and they have had their implementation phase and yet I do not see the reason as to why a simple server upgrade should not have been done earlier while tackling the remaining issues in the following weeks.
If this keeps up? Looks like EA will finally be #2 this year for worst company of the year.
