What was everyone's party makeup that ended up beating her?

I went in with a party of PLD/SCH/SMN/SMN and we kept losing the pillars, SMN don't have any AoEs so we took a long time killing the feathers. Is this still a stack BLM for their AoEs type of boss like 1.0? We SMN even sic'd our Ifrits on a feather each and I spammed Ruin 2 on another feather and it still took too long killing the feathers.

My successful run was actually PLD WHM SMN SMN. It wasn't easy, but eventually we got it down.

The trick for us was to cast Tri-Disaster on Garuda the moment the message for the feathers pops up, which will bind them all right after they appear (for the first two at least) and deal a little initial damage, then Ruin II + Energy Drain on individual feathers. Because Energy Drain doesn't suffer the global cooldown and Ruin II is instant, you can drop one plume at a time after the initial Tri-Disaster damage. Later on Tri-Disaster won't work because the plumes come from all sides, but you can still drop a few by doing Ruin II + Energy Drain + Ruin II again; mostly it doesn't matter because you protected them completely during the first couple times. We left our pets on Garuda, since exploding plumes would hurt them and she would have her bind removed nearly immediately anyway (pets won't attack bound targets even if you use Sic).

It's still probably not an ideal setup, as Blizzara is vastly superior to Tri-Disaster, but it worked for us.

Edit: I also didn't get a chance to test this myself, but you might be able to do them in with a combination of Tri-Disaster as mentioned above and then Bane to spread the three DoTs to the plumes. With two summoners this might drop them all before bind wears, but again I haven't tried it.

I best it as:
PLD, SMN, WHM, DRG and as WAR, MNK, SCH, DRG.

but yea 2 summoners might suck with their terrible DPS and all.
