AFKers are selfish people and if not fully the problem , they are definitely apart of it !

500 afkers? More like 4500 afkers spread across every single sanctuary. Servers can hold 5,000 players at any given time. And now a majority of them are selfish kids who apparently were never tought the values of sharing. They are the problem.

So you mean to tell me that 90% of each server population consists of AFKers? 4500/5000 = 0.9 for all those whiz kids....now I know you AFK haters are full of shit. And the eight people that liked this post are dumber than the next....all this time your bitching you could be trying to log in or AFK (like me while im working)

SE's total failure to plan for a successful launch is the problem. They actually planned for the launch to NOT be successful.
Forum dwellers instead focus all their internet rage on their fellow players since they know SE can't fix it fast.
Why rage about AFK players when everything will be fixed on Wednesday and it won't matter anymore? People will all be playing the game and the AFK issue will be forgotten.
Windows Update: Our only savior?
yes they are and even if by some chance they aren't, they are contributing to the problem.

It's all a cycle, people afk because once they log off they may never get back on, causing more people to afk. If they restart the servers, they will get a rush of people logging on making it fastest finger first to log on.
Also blaming afkers is just pointing blame, if I log on in the morning or early afternoon I will get onto Ragnarok straight away, come EU primetime I will be very lucky to log on, this shows that the problem is not afkers, if it was the problem would be round the clock.
I can't talk for other servers but this is the case with Ragnarok.

I think you're missing the point Delsus.
AFK'ers are still present at prime time. So if there were say, 500 AFK players logged in at that point, and 700 people trying to log in, it becomes 500 people playing, 200 people trying to log in, and we can bring back a global queue.
Add to it that AFK'ers only ever seem to go up, and people actually playing the game is gradually decreasing. Its a marvel that SE is even able to keep the servers alive with their current stance on the idle queue.
to be clear, you are no more entitled to play than the people sitting AFK. if they got in there first before you and just didn't leave that's a sad day for you but they get to play and you don't opposed to you getting to play and they don't.
i think it's just as selfish to blame the afk people as it is to sit afk so you don't lose your spot online. fact is there is a limit resource and the only fair way to handle it is first come first serve.
