    1) Limit Break's damage has no modifier on what buffs or debuffs you or the boss have. It is calculated by the average ilvl weapons the entire party has equipped. To maximize your use of LB (when able), it is best to have all your dots fresh while you cast it (so you're doing damage while charging LB). Save your CDs/Buffs for AFTER the LB cast.

    2) BLMs restore their own mana, they were probably mad there was no BRD for Foes Requiem.

    3) I go through coil with a static, because the level of incompetency from the general populace is unbearable.

If not should I invest in rowena tokens and get a tome for weathered liberator? I'm working on animus and am 4/9 books so far.
If you're close to sold cap then I would go with the weathered sold hands. The weathered hands are better than the HA, and if you're not hurting on acc it make even more sense. Also you'll have enough for the liberator when you get the tombstone

All this depends on the current gear you have. Until I get some more gear, High Allagan gloves are actually best for me in every turn of 2nd coil.

    Learn it, love it.

Alright thanks, that's very useful to know. So Blood for Blood doesn't increase the damage? Very good to know indeed. Even still, I notice sometimes in dungeons with other DRGs that I'm the only one using Phlebotomize, Disembowel and Chaos Thrust. >_>

Also, for everyone else who responded, thanks for your feedback. I just wanted to know the consensus of other DRGs in the game and whether or not we're fighting an uphill battle because we enjoy our class so much. Good to know we are still totally viable and that the general playerbase is being a typical general playerbase.

Welcome to why DRGs get a bad rap.

Noob dragoon question. Let's say some extra movement to dodge an aoe causes you to lose Heavy Thrust buff before landing a combo'd Full Thrust. Do you reapply Heavy Thrust or just finish the combo'd Full Thrust without the buff? I'm leaning toward the latter, but would like to know more exp'd dragoons' thoughts.

As far as gearing goes, I'm really interested in what stats are on the CT2 body. There's no way it has worse stats than the Sol body, and I'm guessing either DET/Acc, Crit/Acc or Crit/SS (not DET/SS since that's HA, and prob not Crit/DET...if it IS Crit/DET...damn). Going to farm CT2 for it week 1 no matter what though (unless it IS the worse high-SS/low-Acc...but they won't screw us over again, will they?), hoping its really good for us til HA...

As for other gear, I'm only missing the gloves as far as Sol gear goes, but until I get a Sand to upgrade them I'm holding off as I have the HA and getting the Sol just doesn't fit in with what I have right now (I need to get the HA pants or Headgear first, and even if I get one I want to know the CT2 body's stats since I'm almost certainly using that. If I get both this week then I'll spend the Sol to get the gloves. Buying tank gear now, though also waiting on CT2 stats til I buy my next piece...).

Thanks for the t9 tips one more thing..my acc is sat at 498 though someone in my team is adamant that I reach the tank acc cap for when we are stacked in front of the boss. Im not sure how long this is for as we haven't got there yet but imo boosting my acc for a time when I can only use phleb and tvf combo isn't worth it. Any suggestions?

I think it is worth using the tank acc cap once you are first getting into the final phase as long as your not gimping your iLVL. It will make learning the last part alot easier to sit in front with the group and just ft combo whilst you are getting used to all the mechanics. It takes a little while to learn when you need to be with the group for fire in/lunar dynamo and also situational awareness of where people are placing thunder/fire out.

Once you are alot more comfortable with the mechanics you can go back to the flank acc cap if you wish but the is still going to be 1 GCD on the fire in after lunar dynamo which you will be risking hitting from the front.

For the final phase cycle positioning it goes, fire out > lunar dynamo (get in front/side) > fire in (stack in front) > chariot > fire out > supernovas > thermionic beam (stack center) > fire in > divebombs > repeat.

As long as you where stacked for the first fire in or was targetted by a fire out, then you can just ignore stacking for the final fire in as the fire stack will wear off by the time the next fire in comes after divebombs. Just make sure if you have the final fire in tether you stay in the center as someone with a fire stack will likely be moving away from center.
