Got my Liberator last week and I'd be really interested to know how high can go a DRG with it in a fight like T8. Anybody got numbers to share ?

It's a drg week!
3 drops and high allagan spear.
How long DRG dots need to be up that they beat other abilities in damage? (How many seconds) . Would nice to know if someone can answer as sometimes I am torn between dots or burst combo when enemy is almost dead, but not yet, so if someone knows the exact seconds please tell me.
1 tick = 3 seconds
Chaos Thrust + 1 Tick (230 Potency) > TT, VP, ID, DI
Chaos Thrust + 5 ticks (350 Potency) > Everything
Plebotomise + 0 Ticks (170 Potency) > TT
Plebotomise + 1 Tick (195 Potency) > TT, ID
Plebotomise + 2 Ticks (220 Potency) > TT, VP, ID & Equal to DI
FT > Plebotomise + 6 Ticks (Maximum, 320 Potency) > TT, VP, ID, ID
In other words, don't bother with DoTs when an add is about to die.
www.ecguild.co.uk is the site my particular static uses (it's complicated), or www.youtube.com/kirayakimi are two places you can talk to me off these forums![]()
kk, think I got everything set, had to join the site in order to PM you
I have a question about dodging the Grand Fall AOE in Leviathan before the dive phase. As Off Tank (most of the time I'm forced to go Paladin) I usually take the AOE on the "short side" of the boat, except when I'm near the the Elemental Converter and we must use it.
On Dragoon, by the way I'm forced to spawn them on the border of the "long" side of the boat because of positioning. Problem is, I frequently get trapped from someone else geyser when moving along the border. Lately I've tried to move on the Off Tank side just before dive phase (hoping to not get a Tail Whip) to try to dodge them in the same way I do as a Off Tank but, again, the risk is to get mine and OT AOE all together.
I'm doing something wrong or there's a common strategy to avoid safely Grand Fall? Thank you.![]()
guys I desperately need some help...
I've been playing my drg since the pre-release, literally in love with this job, and I'm executing my rotations pretty much perfect in terms of timing and unclipping. HT, Dis, CT, Phl is always on, and the off-cd are used when can (clipping BfB with Surged FT and so on..)
you can see my gear here
right now working on my 5th book for Animus, and I prefer waiting for the next upgrade before deciding on the Liberator (the acc for the relic is pretty nice)
the thing is in t8 for example I'm stuck at 300-310 dps, and I'm always falling 20-30 dps behind mnk. but I'm always surpassing our brd\smn\blm.
after seeing the numbers on this thread I realized that I'm doing something wrong... my Surged FT hitting 1300 max. and on t8 I can't pass the 310 dps.
am I doing something wrong? our parser is broken?
I really wanna get better but there's barely any info about that.
There are a lot of things that can effect T8.
What mechanics are you, yourself dealing with ?
How are you, yourself dealing with the Dread ?
Are you using Pots, if so, what kind ? What food ? Accuracy ?
A lot is going to depend on some of the things listed above. I clicked your link, but you where in Monk gear ^^
As of late, I have only been pulling around 330, but that is with a death each time, cause I am about to beat one of my healers :P
Yes, the accuracy of the Relic is nice, but the hitting power of Lib is much more to my liking. If you have T8 down, I would seriously look at the Lib, if you are still working on T8, I can see the reason to hold off. But more then likely, you will still want to be upgrading to it before you down T9.
